My dad built this train table for Jonathan and Jaden when they came out on their last visit to Albuquerque. Dad told me,
"I'll build it and you can decorate it."
Today I finally got in an artistic mood and painted the train table.
The table in its original form.
Jonathan helped me put on the 2 coats of primer.
Primer finished.
Then I painted the "brick" sides and added the wallpaper Thomas peel and stick border. It couldn't be easier.
The finished product
The top. We have the ocean, beach, river, trees, and a green forest. This was really the hardest part for me because I wasn't sure what to add and then it got to the point where I better stop or I'm going to mess it up.

I thought the tunnel legs turned out cute.
