Jonathan could hardly contain himself last Friday night while Jason was setting the tent up in the backyard. He was going to sleep outside with daddy! But the campout was for big boys only. Jonathan informed me that Jaden was too small and could not sleep in their tent, but when he gets bigger it will be ok. He also opened an invitation for me to sleep in the tent, and as much fun as that would be (can you hear just a little sarcasm in my voice :), I told Jonathan I needed to stay inside with Jaden.
So excited.
There was no campfire and no smores, Jonathan grabbed a few toys and Jason had his iPhone and they were ready to sleep under the stars. All they had was a tarp so bugs couldn't crawl in, an air mattress because who wants to sleep on rocks, and a tent.......
and Jonathan thought it was the best campout ever. He came running in the house the next morning saying, " Mom, THAT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO COOL!" And every night since he has asked Jason if they could sleep outside.
Now the Daddy Bee.
He is really becoming a master at catching bees. He came running in the house yelling, "Mom, I caught the daddy bee!" It was definitely one of the biggest bees I have ever seen.
