I'm a Cubbie now!

Sunday nights were hard for Jonathan this past year. Since he has the late November birthday, he was left behind in the nursery with all the younger kids and his baby brother, while all his friends moved up into the Awana program and became Cubbies. And all we heard was "When can I be a cubbie? I want to go to cubbies? Can I go to cubbies now?" Well this past Sunday night was promotion Sunday and Jonathan was able to start the preschool choir and Cubbies. When I picked him up from his cubbie class, he was waving his cubbie book in the air and with a huge smile on his face he proudly said, "I'm A Cubbie Now, Woo Hoo!!!" He not only told me, but was yelling it down the hall on the way to see his daddy.

We are so proud of him.
